People from all over the world took a "simultaneous photograph in celebration of international peace, human rights awareness, and artistic collaboration." The idea was to take a photo at 9/09/09 at 9:09am Tokyo time. This was actually 5:09pm on 09/08/09 for CA time!


We decided to celebrate the kids' Dominican/American heritage and also, the diversity of our neighborhood. All of the girls with Natalie live on our street! Of course, my one photo turned into a photo shoot...which one is your favorite?

Digital Scrapbooking....

Have you tried Digital Scrapbooking yet? Do you think it sounds like fun to create album pages on your computer? I have created several albums this way, and the "drag and drop" templates make it easy to create fun and colorful album pages. Creative Memories has free software called "Storybook Creator" that you can download and use to make albums with several free themes. This summer I upgraded and purchased "Storybook Creator Plus" which is the premium version of the software. It lets you customize your scrapbook pages by moving elements around on the page (think "stickers" and "embellishments")

I will be sharing some of the tips and tricks I have discovered as I am learning the program.
